BACK PACK BLESSINGS

Provides weekend food for children who are at risk of not having enough to eat. We currently provide weekend food for students at Beaufort Elementary, Beaufort Middle, East Carteret High School, Harkers Island Elementary, Smryna Elementary and Atlantic Elementary.

Sponsor a Backpack Blessings Child for just $5 a week, $20 a month or $180 for the entire school year.

Monday-Saturday 10:00 am – 5:00 pm

Our thrift shops are filled with goods that have been donated by the community. Our proceeds are used to fund our ministry’s programs. At our 1700 location, we sell clothing, shoes, jewelry, and seasonal items. Our thrift shop located at 1710 Live Oak Street is filled with household goods, linens, furniture, appliances, house decor, and many other treasures, all available at low prices .

HARKERS ISLAND FOOD PANTRY

The Food Bank of Central & Eastern N.C. provides a “mobile pantry” at the Harkers Island Fire Department at 1219 Island Rd. The pantry is held on the last Thursday of each month at 1pm. Food items include fresh vegetables, non-perishables and many other items depending on availability.

RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT PROGRAM

Our residential treatment program is a Christ-centered program for men struggling with substance abuse. See Treatment Program for more information. Outpatient counseling is also available for men and women struggling with substance abuse.
